I must say, it's great the way this series reduces these so-called 'bad lads' to the drug taking blubbery kids they really are.

Most of the officers seem to be new to this series so far. Only Corporal Murray and the Sergeant are from last series. Is that posh bloke who was the top rank in this series? How about that old bloke who did the 'left-right-left-right' bit last time?

Do you mean the bloke with the round glasses who was part of the titles for the first series? Looks like he's gone too.

Oh, the old guy with the tash and high blood pressure who said he once had both his eyes gowged out - he was brilliant!

I haven't seen the series yet as I reverted to BBC2's pedigree comedy hour. I understand it is repeated on Sunday itv2?

I like this show as it is 'celebrity' free and is ITV at one of its finest.

I think I've got an episode of the first series on tape somewhere when it was repeated last year on ITV1 Night Time, might dig it out.

Yes the old bloke was the one I was thinking of.

The new corporal hasn't made much of an impression yet, but someone who has is the "Provost Sergeant", He's going to be the best one in this series!

Are we still enjoying the new series.

That guy tonight who's money wasn't really stolen was pushing the officers to the limit.

Before he went the Provost should have given him a beasting!

Still enjoyable. Fantastic TV last night when that bloke told the sergent it was people like him who ruined the country then said he had served the country by looking after himself - with the sergeants then all getting quite rightly angry and pointing out they'd lost friends who had died serving the country!

It be good though if they changed the "Bad Lads" theme next year - maybe "Posh Lads Army" or something like that!

As the piece of sh*te demonstrated however, his "I can do what the f*ck I like, yeah, innit" attitude wasn't that misplaced, because ultimately "he can do what the f*ck he likes, yeah, innit" because since he remains a civilian, they can't actually hold him in the camp against his will and the ultimate punishment is to be kicked out...in other words "I can do what the f*ck I like, yeah, innit"

How about next year they continue to scour the dregs of chavdom to recruit more c*nts who should have been shot at birth...but take that "I can do what the f*ck I like, yeah, innit" security away from them. Run Bad Lads' Army as a direct competitor to Big Brother which airs for the same amount of time, and make all contestants sign a contract in which they are bound to remain at the camp for the duration of the programme. Being backsquadded/kicked out/whatever doesn't mean being sent home, it instead means being kept in military prison conditions for the remainder of the programme, with no way out because all participants have signed a contract agreeing to those terms.

Would make for a far more satisfying series when you look at some of the scum in there.

I absolutely 100% agree with that sentiment. These chav b*st*rds need bringing down a peg or three!

I've been loving bad lad's army. I would love to see a version of this programme for all those chav girls, or, "Jackus the lasses" as i call them. I suppose it would have to be more Bootcampy than National service. It would make great viewing though.

I think this year's series is better than last years. The 'bad lads' are much more likeable characters, a lot of them don't seem 'that' bad. Last year they were all scum with no redeeming features whatsoever.

Seeing the posh commander bloke getting red in the face when that chav was swearing at him was good. The provost sergent "Stand sh*gging still" is the best character this year!

I'm a great fan of Captain Henry Dodds but we don't see much of him this time.

I totally agree with the 'Big Bro' idea.

I think the next series should be not a bad lads one, just normal likeable people. Much better entertainment. Also, I'm sure the first series had a longer run than the second. Confused
