Bad Girls Axed!

I just don't think the complete cut-off from the events of last series is credible. The press blurb states Di was sentenced to life for Fenner's murder (one she can never prove she did not commit) while the real killer, Julie J, is getting on with life as if she never killed Fenner. Surely if you've killed someone, no matter how much they deserved it or that you were ill at the time, you can't just "carry on" like so?

so how did she kill him then?, last time I saw it he'd killed somebody by locking them in a cellar or something.
