And the final paragraph in the ASA bulletin is brutally unsympathetic.

Yet the "slag of all snacks" was pulled due to even less complaints Confused and the fact it was on after 1030 meant it was very unlikely kids would have seen it

I thought I'd bump this one up.

Yesterday, I saw whilst I was shopping in Sainsbury's a leaflet with a picture of a cartoon till receipt with facial features called "Mr Bill" or something. I thought, oh no, not this and could picture the type of advert featuring a talking till receipt as my goods were passed through the till.

Guess what? This morning I saw a new Sainsbury's advert with talking till receipt. As if Jamie Oliver wasn't bad enough, we now have this cheesy advert for Sainsbury's insurace/bank featuring this bloody irritating talking till receipt. AARGH!!! Evil or Very Mad

At least it's not another irritating Jamster ringtone character. Imagine how annoying that'd be!

They've already introduced another one, one that features some sort of stuffed bear singing Brown Girl in the Ring ! How bad can it get?

It only takes one complaint and for the ASA to agree with that one person. On the other hand you could get 10,000 complaints and if the ASA don't agree then it doesn't matter now many object.

jesus, that bloody Sky adverts started popping up again - the one with the family laughing when the kid says something about extra-terrestrial life. I can see this getting annoying again, just like crazy frog!

The new esure.com ads with "The Mouse" . . . only slightly less annoying than the Michael Winner ones!
