Bad Ads and Crap Commercials 2005

Especially at Dinner Time. Spaggetti Bolognese anyone?

IMHO, anyone over the age of 16, that finds those ringtone characters funny or cute, needs to grow up, and get a life!
And anyone over 16 that actually downloads any of those ringtones to their cellphone, clearly has a mental age of 6!

Art students tend to find them funny. And they are as old as 50 in the media/art department where i work.

I suppose they also consider TV idiots such as Dick and Dom, to be the height of intellectual entertainment as well.

I'd say they should act their age, not their shoe size! Especially now that one of the ringtone ads involves a
pair of farting monkeys. Surprisingly it's not a Jamster ad, but it's still puerile, childish, and totally pathetic!

I'm pretty good with ads, in that I can ignore even the irritating ones, but that particular one makes me literally retch. It's utterly revolting. I have to look away from the telly when it appears.

Have you noticed how that the Crazy Frog is now being advertised regularly on prime time ITV1. Previously only seen on channels like The Box or in off peak slots during strands like T4.

Just shows how much money Jamster must be making, conning all those Year 7 kids into joining the Jamster Club, who then end up complaining about it on Short Change

I was reading on Digital Spy (yes I know) and someone who seems to know their stuff was saying that apparantly Jamster have paid to have Crazy Frog in almost every ad break throughout the whole weekend on ITV1, and sometimes twice in the same ad break.

Yeh, it's even invaded Corrie and Emmerdale ad breaks.

Jamster must be stopped, they are brainwashing us. I can't think the continued appearance of THAT character in ITV ad breaks can be very good for ratings.

Apparantly it is also on Channel 4 and Five as well, so you just can't get away from it.

It's just been on the centre break of corrie, the most expensive ad break on british television.

I expect there will be complaints, people will wish KFC were advertising instead!

Well maybe it dosen't need to be on in every advert break,but they have paid for it. The only problem with is it's always the same kind of advert with the crazy frog on the run.

I'm glad someone else has picked up on this!

I wonder how much Jamster are paying ITV?
And is it part of a strong push to get the track to number one so that music programmes and channels have to play the Crazy Frog track which results in more free advertising for Jamster!
