Yep they are even ripping off SCD's two tier set. SCD never used to have balcony seats.

Did SCD have a balcony on 2 sides? Does Baby Ballroom have a bit "centrepeice" so to speak where they come out (with exclusion of the screen on BB)? Did the SCD judges have a desk? Did the SCD contestants sit at one end of the set? Did SCD have curtains? Did SCD have a big screen? Did SCD only have 3 steps rather than 2 staircases and a further set of stairs? I could go on

Talking of the SCD set, what a total ripoff the Dancing With The Stars show is. You'd be fooled to think it was broadcast in the UK with all the similarities.

And why its on BBC1 on a Sunday afternoon is beyond me.

I have to say having watched it, it was quite good I thought. My only criticism was the dance off at the end....how the public were meant to view their dancing I do not know. That was a shame.
I assume most people if they were going to vote would need to recall the first dance these kids did.
My vote has gone to the pink team...they were great, and seemed such down to earth kids who had only been dancing for a short while!

I thought all the kids were great, with supportive parents as well. Odd how they have to wait a week to know the results of the viewers vote

Firstly I would like to thank the board administrator for "unbanning" me as I had not been posting under multiple identities as had been assumed

I have absolutely no wish to start any arguments again about this programme but just wanted to say that it was nice to see that a couple of people at least had posted on here that they had enjoyed it. Although as a lover of dance I am of course totally biased and welcome and avidly watch all TV programmes on this subject. However I have to say that I don't think the production of this one has been the greatest. Although I thought all the kids were super and danced really well, some of the music was awful and must have been really difficult for them to dance on time to. I think some of the couples also probably had a disadvantage of the dances they were given to perform, after all it is hard to compare say a Vienesse Waltz to a Jive!

Just as an aside, we were asked to continue discussions about "pushy mothers" on a thread started on the Metropol site. However, any attempt to register as a user on that site has failed due to their being no activation e-mail received!! A technical hitch or just ignoring us?? - lol.

So who is going to win??

Has it only just been fixed?? Jee.. I tried to sign up about just over a year ago and didn't recieve the activation email so gave up.
