It seems to be a bit of a car crash doesn't it. Good that Chris Tarrant is well polished and can pull it all together. You don't know what's going to happen next!

Hmm, yes. Nice to see they're reconstructing TSW's Opening Night to mark the occasion...

And now a segment on ITN from Sir Trev himself!

People often complain that Trevor is too serious, but the fact he is so serious makes it so much funnier when he does a bit of comedy about 4 times a year.

Oops - that reference to Lady McDonald may have been a bit uncomfortable for Sir Trev. Or have they got back together?

As I'm sure it would've been for Lenny Henry's partner when Chris Tarrant said "the late Lenny Henry" - although I'm sure if she was watching the first part of the show she'd know he was referring to the clip of Lenny accepting his star being late!

It's nice to see Brucie (to see Brucie nice) tonight. I thought he'd never appear on ITV again, what with his none appearance last night, obviously not.

Thought you did, but was strange you didn't mention her by name. Smile They married in 1984 I think.

But he did use the opportunity to take the piss out of ITV and make them run late.

It was unfortunately so ITV to get scantily clad dancers with Status Quo for the firework display. Why?
