Does anyone know what's happened to Avago? It seems to be that now on Mondays and Tuesdays from what was just said, they are just having someone reading out numbers whilst the automated system is running in the background.

Is it a shortage of staff because of the holidays or is this a sign of the "agreement" that was reached over the Sky deal. The gallery is only 3 people from what you can see.

Spin to Win doesn't seem to appear at times when Avago is off instead it's just rolling promos whilst Spin to Win still seems to be going with one of Avago's main presenters, Sonya, with some other random!

Methinks it's Sky's deal!

Doubt it's anything to do with Sky. Avago largely escaped Sky's restrictions.

I doubt it's to do with Sky - theese changes are still the same game being played in the same way, although in a different presenter style.

You may be right about a presenter shortage, but I think it could be to raise the profile of the other games they offer, by shifting the main faces there for a while.

I ssupect that they are downsizing the studio bits for a while while several of the presenters and crew have a holiday.

Gives them a chance to promote their other games and raise the profile of the Statos

That Nigel said a while ago that Sonya has left avago! Shame.

BTW, why when I flicked on E4 last wek was Cat on Celebrity 5 go dating. Shes hardly a Celebrity for just presenting avago.

I really don't get Avago. It's as if the games get in the way of the inane chit chat. The presenters really don't seem to care about who has won or what the numbers are.

And why aren't they allowed to call it Bingo?

Well whats more interesting on Avago? The chit chat or the boring, silly and expensive on the phone line game??

Well, judging by the high profits, I'd say the latter.

I used to watch it a lot, but I've lost interest over recent months. I think my mental health has improved a little as a result.

They have to be very careful in what they say as they're using a loophole in the gambling laws I beleive to be able to broadcast, which is why they're not allowed to call it "Bingo" nor mention what you get when you win, which is why they get you to go interactive and find out.

Even promos for big games can't mention the money you can win, but if you look on the website or go to the interactive, you'll find it mentioned everywhere.

But I didn't think they had high profits - they made most of the studio staff and a number of the presenters redundant at five minutes notice in August, then promptly re-hired freelance crew. The Jockey thing is run on next to nothing, and half the time doesn't run at all. Plus loads of the games have no players at all - surely can't be that profitable.

Some of the presenters they retained are pretty grim as well!!!!
