The ressurrection of an old seasonal friend occurred! The between link "Autumn On BBC1" trails. Good basic presentation combining a selection of mouth watering snippets of things to come! About time these trails began again. Seasons used to determine the different eras of a TV year, but lately there has been no promotion at all of seasonal shows.
There, that's all I wanted to say....and not a single mention of Christmas!
The shows on BBC One look like nothing but fantasys and daft shows I like the shows ITV |1| are promoting they look very good. Quality is the word im looking for

The BBC trailers are a lot more cryptic, and I love them for it. Looks like they've done a re-make of a midsummers night dream with weird camera effects and Jonny Vagas! That I have to see. The drama's on ITV are sometimes always too serious, and too similar I find. BBC always try to find alternative drama, which is new and exciting to watch. I bet that there is more detective/police dramas on ITV this fall than there are original drama from the Beeb.
whilest im in the subject. after catching the trailer yesterday i felt that the bbc has a new target audience. are they aiming for a younger audience or is that just me?

I'd have to agree. It's the only audience that really has any say in the way programmes are produced. At least it's going to be excited for us youngin's!
Excellent music on the trailer too, from Arcade Fire.
I'm very much looking forward to BBC One's treatment of Shakespeare if it's as good as recent drama on the channel. Doctor Who was top class, Messiah was excellent and last year's Chaucer reworkings were very good.

The BBC is a family channel, therefore it produces at both ends of the spectrum. This trailer is just attempting to rack in as many viewers as possible without focus on any particular group after a summer of dreary ratings.
