I have the late Jon Pertwee's signature twice, cos the first one smudged. He was in Brum promoting the addition of the Sci-Fi channel to Birmingham Cable (now Telewest), he wrote it on the back of a Sci-Fi leaflet but that smudged so he wrote it again on a Birmingham Cable coverage map! *what a guy*

Secondly I have Lisa B's signature (now on Get Your Own Back on CBBC) cos I wrote to Nick asking for it!

Um... do you go out of your way to find F-list celebrities!

I think the urge to leave this world would be incredible if I were stuck in a room with Bruno Brookes, Kilroy and Bamber Gascoigne.

Although I have been a fan of Mickey Hutton for a while - I used to tape Hanger 17 because it clashed with Cubs

There are a string of Everton players' autographs around here somewhere, most of which were collected by Parent A in the 60s.

Personally, I have no autographs. However, when I met Gordon Burns a few months ago there were about 20 students crowding around him asking for his autograph, he obliged and signed every one, including my friend's. I was waiting at the door and Gordon came through it looking quite flustered, he asked me whether I would like his autograph, to which I replied: "No, but you can have mine, it'll be worth more than yours in a few years time". He laughed and pulled out a little notebook that I promptly signed. It'll no doubt be lying in a bin somewhere at the moment.

Not sure whether to be impressed or slightly scared at that. 8O

For my sins, I've got one of the huge boards from Countdown with a big sum and Carol Vorderman's autograph on it...

And for the record, she's really genuinely lovely and friendly. Mr Whiteley on the other hand... well, maybe he was having an off-day. Crying or Very sad

Who's 'Parent A' ?

Do you have several parents? were you the result of a warped sexual experiment in the mid-80s? Rolling Eyes

Several photos of BBC WM / BBC Midlands Today presenters, albeit not all signed.

The ones I can remember being signed are Cayte Walker, Bernadette Kearney. Julie Mayer, & another MT presenter/reporter(a blonde!) who has since left, who I can't remember the name of off hand.

From Wolverhampton's WABC(when it was good & local remember local radio), I did have Jason King's signed, plus Jim Duncan & Phil 'The Prof' Dixon unsigned, but now are lost !

Oh, & thanks to my sister, a black & white Emma Jesson, but thats currently mislaid too!
