Hopefully Prime (the Seven affliate where I live in Australia (who own's Prime NZ)) will broadcast 1080i when they start HD.

Firstly, thanks to Carlito and Pete (9 Qld) for the information about the tennis situation.

So, Prime TV (Aus) is an affiliate of Seven. Prime (Aus) owns Prime NZ, yet Prime NZ also has some sort of affiliation to Nine Network, as the 'nine dots' appear in its logo and it plays a lot of Nine Network shows. Have I got that right?!

I think Prime also owns GWN, the Seven affiliate in WA - is that right?

You are correct. To sum up:

Prime AU owns GWN and Prime NZ as well as Prime TV Australia

Prime TV/GWN are Seven affiliate's. Prime NZ is a mostly Channel Nine affiliate (but from what I have seen on their TV guide, they also do show some other networks material including BBC).

8 MB - any chance of reducing the size of the file - 8 MB isn't worth the wait for those of us stuck in the land of dial-up - and doesn't seem worth it for a file that can't be much longer than a minute or so!

aw fine, but its is 1.30 min so its long hence the large size. Heres one for all you dialup users. Reduced to 3.79MB so its half the size. any smaller and the sound would be screwed up bigtime and woulnt be worth it.

I hear the new-style end-credits are being launched this Monday, a week earlier than planned. Seven Perth showed new credits after H&A on Friday night.

Thanks for that Routemarker. I've been really excited, waiting to see those new credits. Nice big panel for the preview and ECP, yet the credits are still legible (though I expect they play very fast!)

Although the new style is better for the promo, I think the old ECP is better for the credits.

They would look better if they were written "linear", like movie credits.

Cool. Didn't realise 'Tim' jumps up and adds the '7' logo - nice touch Smile

On Sunday, Prime TV updated the on-air promo and ident look for GWN and Prime TV.

Here are some previews:
Promo end (note that the yellow cube in the bottom left corner rotates)
Part of the ident
Another part of the ident
