Routemarker, if AEST stands for Australian Eastern Summer time, GMT would be 6am.
If it's the standard Australian Eastern Standard Time, then it would be 5am GMT.

(I think that's correct. Chris Moyles show starts at 6PM here (Australian Eastern Summer time (GMT+11)) untill we go back to Australian Eastern Standard Time)

here you go, the link is fixed. Enjoy!

My Restaurant Rules Credits / Lost Countdown
Size: 1.7mb

Right click and Save Target As.

Truly one of the best promos ive seen from seven.

I sort of feel sorry for the sponsors whos logos are being overlooked because of the essential content in the visual box. They must have paid a ton only to be swept aside.

Thanks for that, now that is a great promo.
I love they've integrated the two shows together into one promo.

When did this appear? Was it at the end of My Restaurant Rules? And if so didn't the show have any actual credits, or was it just the sponsers?

It's interesting that in the UK, on programmes that use companies they will just list them, you only usually have the logos appearing within a programme when the company have given them the prize for a competition.

As for Lost, it looks like an amazing series, I saw a preview of it on T4 last weekend, I'm not sure whether that means it will air on Channel 4 here, or if it was just a general preview.

That promo was played in the credits of my restaurant rules on its premiere leading into the premiere of lost.

Those are the credits, They just show the logos for 'products and/or services provided under commercial management' Most shows made here reality/travel/lifestyle would have some form of commercial agreement with companies so they probably have contractual obligation to show logos for certain times. Production Credits of these shows are no longer shown (on seven atleast). The other networks are yet to follow suit, still showing original credits.

Lost is an Amazing Series im sure C4 has it because they have Desperate Housewives.

Do they even cut the credits off programmes like Home & Away?
Or is it confinded to certain points in the day?
And do they publicise the credits online?

It actually seems like the way forward to me, perhaps it wouldn't be as quick to catch on here, but shortening the credits here and printing longer ones online may be an option.
Though our credits are shown when 7 show their company logos I guess.

I haven't understood yet as to why ITV haven't looked into getting rid of advertisements during the programmes, couldn't they just take the 3 minute block between each programme and add a minute onto each break within the hour, surely more viewers would stick around if the programmes followed on from one another.

I'm sure that they used this once, and I'm sure it was on a Saturday night, don't ask me when though.

On Seven, all shows between (I think) 5.30pm and 10.30pm have 'mock' ECP-friendly credits, although all the credits are there, just in a different format.

Shows have 30 seconds for credits and in that time they can do whatever they want with it. Usually it means commercial obligations are put ahead of production credits.

Shows that end between 5.30pm and 11pm have the generic credits. Imports and local dramas have trailers played in the in-vision box. Others have in show content played which can include trailers for future episodes and are done at the time of production.

Like i said things like that are generally seen on unscripted shows ie reality/travel/game shows. The credits can be seen online at ther respective sites but then again news here dont have any credits at all so there is a push toward this sort of thing.

Dramas like Home and Away use that 30 seconds for their credits.

It could be an option. It has been trialed on the discovery channel in the US where a documentary would end then a 5 secopnd sting will tell viewers to go online for the credits. And these credits were on steriods with every crew member having profiles and biographies. however, unions generally put the network in their place.

I'm sure it will happen some day.

Interesting is nine is starting to get producers to make their credits ECP safe like the UK. The shows keep their general show look with text sidelined to the left.

heres a 1 min clip from nine during the credits of mcleods daughters. Not generic like sevens and they dont re position production cards.
