On Sunday, Prime TV updated the on-air promo and ident look for GWN and Prime TV.

None of those links to images work - and just to note that by using the IMG tag rather tha URL, the images will show up in the post.


They work for me. Anyone else having problems with the links?

And I don't like using the IMG tag to post a 1024x576 image (as I resize widescreen clips to that resolution).

i had no problems. what you should do is give the raw link for the picture instead of the image shack page which has the image and the vote poll.

I usually do. This time (as I posted the images late at night), I couldn't be bothered (I don't know why).

I think this is one of the best examples of accelerated flow done by seven. A great transition between 2 shows into the premiere of Lost which became a hit premiering to 2.34 million viwers (>50% share of the timeslot against all demos)

My God why aren't ITV or Channel 5 doing things like that surely in today's tv world we're theres literally hundreds of channels to choose from they'd want to keep hold of every single last person to the channel not a crappy trailer in a tiny box spoken by the announcer - it's all just too out dated here on British TV its laughable!

lol its still not fully employed here in aust but i think due to the vast numbers sevens new shows are getting (ie desperate housewives and lost) we may see more of this stuff become standard very soon. But i suspect crossovers like the one above are used for special events only because it would be very costly to do it for every show. However credits for all shows will be in the format as above with the entire top 75% used for visuals which is massive. Surely UK nets have enough funds to support this kind of thing the networks just need to close the ad break between programmes.

Aust tv just got more competitive after that stunt i think.

Now that's cheesy! They did an absoloutely cheese-o-rama promo for V-Day's H&A too - it's on BBTB forums somewhere but it's just got hearts all over the shop.

no problem, thanks for bringing it up. I guess the link is broken. I'll upload it to my server and post it around 5pm AEST. I couldn't be bothered to figure out GMT lol.

It's very must see. An example of a very creative promo infusing 2 shows.
