It seems like the Australian News thread in the newsroom has been doubling as a place to talk about non-news Australian TV, and the old thread is buried somewhere, so I've made a new one.
First of all, as announced a few days ago, Nine has announced that it will overhaul its multichannel platform on November 26. Nine's catch-up service, 9JumpIn, is to rebranded 9Now. Nine will recommence an HD simulcast of its main channel. A new lifestyle channel named 9Life will be launched on the same day, while both of the existing secondary channels (GO! and GEM) will be rebadged as 9GO! and 9GEM (with the iconic 9 dots appearing on their logos).
