Aunties Bloomers

I was fust wondering where has Aunties' Bloomes gone?
Has it been axed or just replaced by Outtake TV?

Terry quit Auntie's Bloomers so it was renamed Out-Take TV and Paul O'Grady, who admits he hates clip shows, took over. Look how uncomfortable he was presenting it.

Also the BBC wanted to distance themselves from the old "Auntie" line

But in an era of increasingly dire TV, the "Auntie" image is a valuable tool.

Come on Terry, come back to the Good Ship Bloomer!!

It's the same programme just with a diffrent presenter and title. Not that anyone actually takes any notice of the links inbetween

I don't know why but I do find Out Take TV rather funny, as it O'Grady at his finest at times, I am glad I haven't been to a recording of it as they show you about 1,000 outtakes of Paul at the end. Though Aunties Bloomers was okay, it was getting a bit tired, but I thought it got axed as Wogan didn't want to carry on with it.

I like Paul's humour, and out take tv gave him the chance to speak his mind about the clips, some of his comments are gems.

He is one of the best comedians around at the mo, and after years hiding behind the lily savage disquise. It will be ineteresting to see his generation game.

On the blankety blank website, it says that they are currently looking for contestants. Is it going to return then?

I want Lily Live to return. That was great for the first two runs. They even got cut off one week due to sept 11th, so they pre recorded one and put it out over christmas.

I never watched that show, but I heard it was very good, it was just an unfortunate week when one of the episodes was shown, as it was given to make way for News. But does he ever do anything as Lilly anymore? As it all seems to be stuff wtih himself, don't get me wrong that was funny too, especially the programmes where he toured the USA for ITV were very good, shame they don't get another run. All we ask of him is not to do another sitcom.

But if you have the chance to watch 'Paying The Rent' it was one of his first's being as Lily and it was rather funny, it maybe on Paramount sometime as that was where I saw that.

So why not get the CA to do them?

Do they still offer money for clips?

That Kangaroo, pleasuring himself, was one of the funniest things I've seen this year on Outtake TV!! I was crying with laughter, made worse, when Paul absolutley geniunelly cracked up afterward! Outtake TV is much funnier than Bloomers
