No, it was Channel 5, it had the logo at the bottom.
Did you see Philip Hayton from BBC News 24 - he had 2 bloopers in the same programme!
Dammit! How could I have missed the logo? And I'm not too hot on newsreader's names either. Was he the one who asked if the weather presenter was hot and wet?
The Phil Hayton bloomers were ancient - from BBC World prior to it moving to it's current studio - when it was still mainly blue like the old One/Six/Nine (though flaggy)

There's a Look North out-take on the BBC Bloomers website, somewhere in the I Love TV section!
Oh yes, Jane Hill couldn't control herself - especially about the person who burnt themselves while trying to iron trousers, while still wearing them!!!
My favouite thing in the original broadcast (apart from hearing the production team burst out laughing) was when she had to turn to her co-presenter - I can't remember who it was, but the look on his face
I also remember News 24 going to a weather forcast, and just as the weather forcaster started, there was a huge laugh behind the scenes. There was no way of knowing what happened just before we cut to them, but I'd love to know...
I remember a few months ago, during an important England football match, I was watching News 24, and as England scored a goal, the whole of the newsroom cheered, as Carl Kirkwood was doing the weather.
I also remember another time when they cut to the weather and Elizabeth Saaray was crouched down on the telephone, the output suite cut to the sting and then went back after some trailers.
In fact last night, when Nina Ridge came on with the weather, her mic wasn't working, so they cut to the sting, played a few trailers and went back to her. I've always wondered what would happen in the event of the news presenter's mic not working, if there was no sound at all, would they cut to a sting, and would they have to repeat the story, so the viewer can hear it, or would they just carry on.

A very funny bloomer shown on Christmas Day's Bloomers programme:
News 24
'This is BBC News 24, coming up'.
Caption with film comes up with cows in a field
'The Queen Mother makes a triumphant return home'.

Yep, I remember that one Rob with Elizabeth, was very funny. It looked like she was ordering a meal over the phone! In fact I think it was yourself who captured the mistake, was it not?
