Is there a different editorial policy when these are made/shown on BBC Two to when they are made/shown for BBC Four?

The BBC Four episodes, you get more or less complete performances, but the Elton John one on BBC Two last night, had no complete performances, short clips mixed with news footage!

Would've prefered more complete performances personally.

One of the clips shown, the TOTP performance to "Rocket Man" from the Christmas Day 1972 (wiped!) edition, I believe doesn't survive as an intact clip, so it wouldn't have been possible to show in its entirety.
