Nooooooooo! They've kept the curves and white astons. I was hoping they would be much different, those white astons are too bright and hurt my eyes! And that logo, well, the ones everyone on the forum have been mocking up are FAR more better than this one Sky has come up with.

I saw an interview with one of the newsreaders Kay Burley? It was in the Sun yesterday in the Sun Woman section.
Well, it looks like RelaunchNow was totally wrong then.....and that is the biggest shame ever !
The new graphics sounded so good - fresh, new look, translucent logo etc etc. Now it just seems that we are being given a cheaply rehashed version of the existing graphics.
One thing that strikes me as odd - how can these graphics *really* have taken that long to get right ? They arent significantly different to the current ones and use the abysmal curvy edges complete with eye-burning cheapo looking white astons.
If this is right, its a BIG letdown and makes me wonder why they bothered to get the studio looking so good when the onscreen look was going to remain pretty much the same !
I may be being a bit too optimistic here, but I'm not entirely convinced by the pics on DigitalSpy.
For starters, they're definitely mock-ups - I'm presuming that the logo is intended to be in the sky corporate font, but has been recreated in paint shop pro using the next best thing! And apparently the logo in the Sun yesterday is slightly different from the one on DigitalSpy.
It's my guess that someone spotted the logo in The Sun and decided to make some mock-ups of what they thought the rest of the graphics would look like. At least that's what I HOPE happened, because that breaing news aston is rubbish!
Those two other photos are random publicity shots, although I couldn't begin to guess where they came from.

ITS interesting that the studio shot of Jeremy and Natasha is alot different to the actual new look.
1. Notice the colour of the keyboards (are they not grey?)
2. Is it my imagination or is the picture alot darker than the actual relaunch.
3. Well from today we know that is no longer the breaking news aston on the videoboard.
4. Why would they use that logo when the original corporate sky logo is already on a couple of other channels

Anywhere that we can download the new theme music? Is the new schedule Relaunch Now showed us happening Sunday or Monday and any ideas on who are the new weekend crew?
OMG! That mock-up of the sky news logo on DigitalSpy is almost IDENTICAL to what i did a few months back..look!!!
