Astra 2C launch happened @ 02.30 BST UK, on Saturday 16th june. If you missed it im afraid you are now too late.

Nothing much, it'll show the thing blasting off and that'll be it! No BBC World I'm afraid but I like the fact you hoped!

Its an actual programme made by Astra and its not brilliant but it shows the launch, displays some graphics and commentates on whats happening, so it serves its purpose.

I see it was Reuters Television Moscow who provided the sattellite link. The graphics were very dull but they served their purpose.
