The 2-frame glimpse of the starting time from the latest trail:

Now they've shown the symbol and clock briefly within trails, I shouldn't think there's any more pres they could think to include on these. Only exception would be if it were from something shown on the TV in the actual episode.

So the clock
was
on the trail for a reason!
The series has quite been quite enjoyable so far, but then I didn't expect anything less; good stuff.

I liked the way David Dimbleby nagged Alex through the telly! No appearance from Zippy, I was most disappointed

VERY good episode last night I thought (though only just watched it on iPlayer).
Wasn't sure about the first episode - mainly because of what a hit show Life on Mars had become but the second episode really showed it's a great follow on to LoM but also stands on its own two feet as its own show.
Really glad they've followed on and especially like the fact that Gene Hunt is "developing".
I believe after such gushing praise for a BBC programme, one is supposed to say...in a Points of View style "Worth the licence fee alone!"

So far I'm loving Ashes To Ashes. The only problem I have with it is it's almost TOO 80's. It seems as though the writers have just packed as many 80's references in as possible. In fact, I said this to my dad last night (whom I was watching it with), and no sooner had I finished the sentence, as the DeLorian appeared...

Can't imagine there are many DeLorian's kicking about the UK. I wonder if its the same one that sat in an Edinburgh shopping mall for a few weeks earlier last year.

The second episode was very enjoyable - much better than the first.
It's looking promising now.
