Just to let you know I have just about completed the video tape of current Channel ITV idents and news, also BBC South West.

Sorry for the delay. Any more news on when ITV will hit Sky Digital and will we get all 13 Regions ?

Ooh yippee!! BBC South West!! I've been wanting the Spotlight opening, sting and end titles for ages!!

BTW, when does Spotlight Channel Islands operate, and what idents do they use? I know they have an opening title, but what about sting/end titles? I don't know this as we've never had a person from the Channel Islands!

how exciting all this interest. BBC Channel Islands if you can call it that broadcast after the 10 o'clock news and use the same opening titles except Channel Islands appears under the Spotlight logo.

The presenter isn't in an open studio she just sits directly infront of the camera. On ocasions we get the opening titles of UK Spotlight then ours cut in.

I will send Asa the tape shortly and hopefully he will put them on his site.

Isn't that strange how its only used at 2225! I would have thought it would be an opt out during Spotlight at 1830!

One more question, so I know what to expect, does Spotlight (main UK programme) have a sting mid way through the 1830 bulletin, during the coming up segment, and after the lunchtime one is there a closing animation?

Sorry about all these questions, its rather exciting, as I only know one other person who lives in the Channel Islands, and thats a girl who I met on holiday who isn't interested in TV presentation!! Also, we don't have any members on the forum from Channel Islands - until now!!

it is strange that they dont opted out at 18.30 although the CI team is very new. The answer to the other questions is yes they do have sting mid way through.
