especially if they show Glenroe, Fair City, High Road, River City, etc... A lot of these have never appeared on the other "main" stations!! And maybe even BLue Heelers and Shortland Street as well as repeats of E-Street and Flying Doctors!!!

Didn't BSkyB only have "Sky Arts" originally because it was a requirement of the continuing BSB licence and was only shown on the former-Marco Polo streams.
AFAIK it was ditched the minute the BSB commitment ended on 31/12/92.
I always did think it was odd that they helped Artsworld to survive, and then bought the whole channel some time later. Perhaps it's a guilty conscience for some of the tat that they put out on their other channels
