Is there really any competition in the transmission sector anyway?
Very much so at present remember a few months ago the BBC announced that they'd dropped their traditional supplier NGW for the DTT network and moved to Arqiva.
Yes, but there are very few other contracts like that left and they are few and far between
The number of commercial radio stations use NGW for their transmission is very low. (and quite a few of them are ex-BBC legacy transmitters such as Virgin, Talksport). One of the companies NTL/Arqiva was more compitative than Crown Castle/NGW who didn't really seem to bother that much in trying to get new contracts
