Not bad, showing just the '2' to start and then zooming out would have looked nicer IMO, but meh, guess I'm just nitpicking somewhat there.
Wonder if this was a one-off? I don't see why it couldn't be used again on the next showing though, you barely see once-only idents these days; I'm sure such rarities were more common in the 1990's!
Personally I think it's rubbish - they didn't even have the thought to take the purple box into account. Wouldn't suprise me if this is the way they go with a rebrand though - programme specific idents done on the cheap.

I should hope that's not the direction they take with the rebrand.
That said, I would personally prefer them to make special idents (even if not that fancy) rather than have none at all, especially as the samey regular set of the present is starting to get a tad dull. If the usual lot were a bit more diverse, perhaps that would be a different story.
I don't think I saw this ident when this series began... which leads me to believe they originally hadn't planned any special ident for it at all. That would explain why it somewhat lacks polish (no pun intended...)
Just look for "11021" using the File Number search.
Thanks for that, it was nothing special but it's good to see them breaking away from the constraints of it being computer generated and with a yellow background.
