Are you sure? Regardless of when the final winner is announced, I thought the runner-up was going to be interviewed on YH,

Youre Fired starts 10 O Clock on BBC Two, followed by Youre Hired on BBC One at 10.40 after the news.

Yes but You're Fired with Adrian Chiles is the unsuccessful team only.

Either way bound to be good viewing on the main show.

That was my understanding. Third- and fourh-place on YF, first & second on YH

Yeh, probably just puzzling as to who will interview them, just monologues, because I understand the scenes were filmed on Monday

Yeah the final boardroom scenes were filmed on Monday, I guess Youre Fired/Youre Hired were filmed either Monday or Tuesday.

Isn't the actual series though filmed months before hand, like last summer - surely they don't keep the winner waiting to find out for nearly a year.

They used to film two endings and both the candidates worked for Sir Alan till the broadcast of the final.

It's filmed in the Autumn - and yes, they wait around 9 months or so - but in this time, all finalists work for Sir Alan so he can obtain an accurate opinion of them and also because they can't get work elsewhere as people would know who had been a runner up.

Oh wells - you beat me to it.

They film all the series in the summer months. Then, over the 6 month period before transmission the finalists usually work for Sir Alan as Brekkie says, and then the final boardroom scenes are filmed a few days before its aired, to avoid any press leaks and the like, giving Mr Sugar the probationary period to truly pick the best candidate for his organisation.

... and then sack them six months later.

Quite pleased with the outcome of tonight's final, without giving it away for anyone who has not seen it. However I wasn't too keen on any of the candidates who got through to the final, Id much rather see Lucinda in the final!
