Not sure if anyone knows but is The Apprentice in one or two parts for the final tonight - the bbc news website is quoting:

Quote:
The show, to be aired at 2100 BST, sees four finalists battle it out for a job with Sir Alan instead of the usual two. The unsuccessful team will be grilled on The Apprentice: You're Fired on BBC Two at 2200 BST.

That will be followed at 2240 BST on BBC One by celebratory finale The Apprentice: You're Hired when Sir Alan chooses one of the winning team as the victor.

Any help much appreciated

I think its fairly clear from that piece.

The final four are split into two teams of two (plus previous candidates), and one team will be dismissed at the end of the 9pm episode.

The follow on BBC1 programme shows which of the two remaining (winning) teammates gets hired.

Thanks, I wasn't sure because different people are saying different things on the radio, tv, online, so wasn't sure.

Seems awfully late for the final announcement but I guess it'll get a lot more viewers than the competition tonight.

Isn't the You're Hired programme on BBC ONE at 10.40pm just the follow up programme, similar to You're Fired where they interview the winner and the runner-up?

It seems the winner will be revealed in the 9pm programme according to the Radio Times. There does seem to be some confusion though.

Oh, well perhaps I'm confused, too.

Not to worry, I'll watch all of it anyway.

Is quite clear - the first BBC One show is the final show in the series, where the two teams of two battle, and then the final winner is chosen.

The show after the BBC News at 10 is an "after show" where they discuss why the winner won in greater depth etc. with Sir Alan etc.

Ok, thanks It did seem quite confusing though. Looks as if it's a ploy to get people to watch it after You're Fired as well.

I would have thought that 'You're Hired' would just be an Adrian Chiles programme and the actual hiring will take place in the 9pm show

It's surely like that because they wouldn't have time to deal with 4 people in the usual 10pm slot

Well, it depends - on the last BBC2 series, the final episode was opened with an Adrian Chiles piece.

They certainly COULD delay the final boardroom session into You're Hired. Whether they will... we'll see, I suppose.

Probably will be all in the 9pm slot although on Steve Wright he just mentioned that in the 9 pm show viewers will see the two teams go head to head - no winner mentioned.

And You're Fired is on BBC Two at 10 prior to You're Hired interviewing the three unsuccessful candidates. Over two Hours of Apprentice viewing basically!

Are you sure? Regardless of when the final winner is announced, I thought the runner-up was going to be interviewed on YH,
