Yes but comeon it's basically a kiss-ass article only saying how good Final Cut Pro is (which it is, but that's beside the point) they're hardly going to waste time saying ITV was originally split into several regions made up of different companies, then bla bla bla, it's irrelevant to the article.

The point is ITV plc is less than three years old, and its production arm has only existed as a single entity for this time. It's also only been called ITV Productions for the last 15 months.

What about this bit:
About the ITV Network
ITV is the oldest and largest commercial broadcaster in the UK, having been set up on a regional basis in 1955. Its flagship analogue channel is ITV1, although it also runs several digital channels including ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, ITV Play and CITV. Ofcom (the independent regulator and competition authority for the UK communications industries) licenses fifteen companies to provide regional ITV services in various areas of the UK. The licences were last put out to full tender in 1991, since then they have been renewed on a rolling basis. Yorkshire Televsion won the franchise for Yorkshire and the surrounding area in 1967, and first broadcast from its purpose-built Leeds studios on July 29th, 1968.

Well I understand that, but something which is plain untrue, I'd argue is irrelevant to anything.
