I remember Allsorts but more on the later episodes which had the grumpy talking box and Jane Cox was in it at the time, who has now been in Emmerdale for a good few years.

I've just watched the closing credits and noticed David Liddiment was Executive Producer. Comes a long way to become the chap who comissioned Who Wants to be a Millionaire? over a decade later.

I seem to recall Playbox was on Monday, Wizadora on Tuesdays, Allsorts on Wednesday and The Ridders on Thursday.

What was that programme with the puppets that lived on a barge? I used to watch that while babysitting my niece and nephew on my hols from college. I think i enjoyed it more than them.

In my day we had Andy Pandy in black and white. That was on Tuesdays.

Mondays was Picture Book, Wednesdays was The Flowerpot Men, Thursdays was Rag, Tag and Bobtail and Fridays was The Woodentops.

Was that when you was a kid or when your kids were kids? < wink>
