Well, I only vote on the polls which I think are not pointless, unlike this one , no only joking Wink. I don't like it when there is a completler irrelevant one or it is a repeat of one that has just moved off the first page.

PS I voted for no!

Judging There is only 1 option- 'No' and 'No'-what choice do I have?

Some of the polls get a bit stupid, they don't bother me that much. I only do a BBC TWO Idents one which will be in it's final round this coming week when I launch it!

As mentioned...

The good polls are those which start a further 'written' debate.

A simple poll is used as an introduction for debate, discussion and argument,

Polls just for the sake of it are a waste of time really.

By the way, 'No' is currently in the lead!

Right, well, if you care to remember, it was I who installed the poll feature. And the reason for this was to get more-or-less instant feedback to a question.
Hmm, I don't remember that... Confused

Was it really necessary Ryan to post saying that you didn't remember that it was Jon that installed the Polls feature? It was another pointless post.
Anyway getting back on topic, I think polls can be very useful and can often go along side topics but some recently have been awful, especially Andrew's ones, especialially where the first post is just simply 'tv forum', ah well, atleast the Mods have the lock topic feature.
Maybe (I'll probably get lynched for giving the mods more work), you could message a Moderator with your idea for a poll, and then only create it when they let you, or is this going too far, because it wouldn't have any real power because they could be created anyway.

Swearing usually indicates a lack of knowledge, and that person has a rather limited vocabulary.
