Having seen the promotion and the pilot for the show, I have to say that it looks pretty good.

OK, 3Sixty's studios make the set look cramped, and what is with all the singing, but if you remember the first series of The Paul O'Grady Show had a smaller set and then remarkably got bigger!

What ITV should do is bring back quality programming at 5pm. Why not repeats of some of their soaps (like Crossroads) or even let So Television produce Richard Hammond's (The) 5 O'Clock Show. That was good television, and reminded me a bit of That's Live!, television the public enjoyed.

That's my opinion anyway.

I saw the YouTube clip of Anthony's show and thought it was awful, but yeah, sorry, I'm probably just a geeky online critic with no friends and a dodgy side parting.

I'm surprised Digital Spew aren't praising his show to be honest but anyway, in response to Mr Square Eyes post, I don't care if the show is aimed at me or not, I don't like Anthony Cotton, he's a poor Paul O'Grady imitation in my opinion and I'd just like to see something decent on ITV1 at 5pm. Obviously the show hasn't aired yet and I'm well aware that people may like his show and praise it, thats fine - all I am (or was) doing is critiscising the clips of his pilot show on YouTube which looked abysmal. After hearing Anthony's very public response to the online critics on national radio I just thought he was rude and could have given a more diplomatic response. The guy is getting far too big for his boots.

Anyway, we'll see what happens when the first show airs.

I did see the trailer before it was pulled from YouTube. It wasn't particularly good, and I don't think I will go out of my way to watch it on ITV1.

However, having said that it was a pilot after all, and the whole point of pilots is to give the broadcaster the opportunity to tweak the programme.

Perhaps the finished product will be significantly better.

I used to like ' I want that House' which used to be on at 5pm on ITV1 weekdays.

I thought that was good and the only buying house programme they had at that time.

I think they should bring that back to be honest.

I still think there should have the Edinburgh Festival shows for the whole of the month!

The titles on the YouTube video for the show, were different to the titles shown in the ITV1 promo advert.

Pilots are there so things can change aren't they?

If you're on about the logo used at the end of the promo, it does look different, though the one used in the pilot is still being used here.

Its not the first time that they have changed the logo on a trailer though.

There's certainly a lot of vendetta monkeys out there on DS forums. Half of them believe "Endemol" is someone's name, and they have cast him as the villain.

Why their scribblings gain credence is beyond me.

He certainly has a point that 'people don't go on the internet to be nice'. If you read DigitalSpy it is just thread after thread of quite over the top negative comments. I do wonder if people just deliberately watch programmes they don't like all day

They start with GMTV and have a go at Fiona Philips, rant about Jeremy Kyle, turn over to BBC1 and slag off Lorne Spicer etc etc and then do the same thing day after day after day

Well it does blow his 'internet' thing out the water when some sites go out 'onto the street' to get general public views. One site has done that, although I'm not going to advertise it, and again people in the main said they didn't like him - one '74-year-old' called him pathetic. Although did praise Julian Clary. So he obviously has something people don't like.

And I have a feeling its going to be on show for all to see in this programme.

Interesting to note that Granada have reportedly given AC a £40,000 pay-rise for his Coro contract!
