When does it start?
I caught a bit of him banging on about his show on radio 1 with the wonderful Veron Kay on Saturday.

I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed...
I heard Anthony talking on Radio 1 Newsbeat this morning about the comments on his new show..
Antony Cotton, who plays barman Sean, has hit back at online critics who are laying into his TV chat show before it's even started. It's after the pilot show was leaked: "People in cyberspace just don't go online to be nice."
Now thats just the jist of it, but what got me more wound up is - how dare he then go on to say that people who have commented on here or YouTube especially are very sad and that they have no friends and need to get a life. Now, I'm probably just adding fuel to the fire but for goodness sake man! Thats a fine attitude to take in making sure people watch your pathetic little chatshow. Perhaps he knows its bad and is trying to protect himself, I don't know, but hitting back at your critics whether in "cyberspace" or magazine articles or whatever is just down right rude.
Defend your show - ok, but DO NOT start being rude and egotistical.
what a C well I thought about wacthing one of his show BUT now he go can away kick himself! I nan watch that "Fishy stuff- how ever you spell it - Tr"

Odd that you think people posting nasty things about a few clips of a pre-broadcast pilot behind the anonymity of the internet is fair game, yet when the subject of the (quite unjustified) criticism has the nerve to hit back, they are rude and egotistical. Really, what did you expect him to say ?
It's quite possible that the show isn't aimed at you. Everyone's a critic.

Nope, the spawn of Digital Spy can say whatever they like - quite often legally offensive - but victims can't as much get on with their working lives. At the end of the day everyone needs a job, including soap stars...
It is really quite disturbing just how seriously people on the internet take Television, those in control certainly don't as much and yet still manage to broadcast some of the best in the world! I dread to think what would happen if any of that mob got their hands near a studio.
I can't think of a single celeb who hasn't been slagged off on that place. They're not in tune with the real world at all. Who's to say this couldn't be a success? Digital Spy users? Arn't they all at their computers 24/7 anyway so actually watching the TV they criticise isn't really an issue!
There's certainly a lot of vendetta monkeys out there on DS forums. Half of them believe "Endemol" is someone's name, and they have cast him as the villain.

Why their scribblings gain credence is beyond me.
I truely believe if we were to investigate further we'd just find a primary school on that site.
