It just look like its so Cramped in that studio he's doing it in!

I guess thats the medium sized studio - the one they used for Soapstar Superchef. The larger studio doesnt seem to get used now that they have axed Soapstar Superchef and Stars in their Eyes is on a break.

ITV bosses furious at the leak apparantly, mainly because the feedback has been exactly what the show deserved - "worse than Mrs O" was the quote paraded around the press.

And it's failure is inevitable - once again most of us here can tell from the moment the show announced that it'll be a complete disaster, yet ITV still commission so much crap.

Anthony Cotton - crap actor, crap singer - and soon to add crap presenter to his list of "talents".

Full credit at least to ITV for getting YouTube to remove the footage! Wink

Everything else you say is right. Viewers didn't like Sharon O's show so why should this be any different? The removal from YouTube does raise a wider question as to how far ITV plc seems prepared to go to stifle negative feedback about its programmes or channels - 2DTV, if you remember, never once sent up ITV but would not hesitate to poke fun at other channels (remember the BBC2 "2" producing a gun and shooting himself as another repeat of The Good Life was introduced?) Whereas Dead Ringers on the BBC at least demonstrates the corporation can admit its mistakes and laugh at itself.

More significantly, as someone pointed out on the POV message board this morning, ITV's equivalent forum is very selective about what exactly viewers can talk about, as if they know what would happen were users given free rein.

Didn't he win best actor at the Soap Awards?

So some people must like him and therefore may watch his chat show. I can see the sterotypical middle aged women who must love his over the top camp personality watching the show. Obviously this bracket makes up about 1% of people who use the internet

He's just been on Vernon Kay's show on Radio 1 and will also be on again tomorrow

Is that Overall or Osbourne-- or was he a combination of the two? Wink

I think he won that more for popularity with the middle aged women rather than acting ability.

TBH, ITV should see this as a blessing in disguise, if it's panned from cyber-viewers and newspapers this would save them money and air-time. Wink Laughing

Well on the TV roles I have seen him in, he tends to play himself-- no acting required Wink

I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed...

I heard Anthony talking on Radio 1 Newsbeat this morning about the comments on his new show..

Antony Cotton, who plays barman Sean, has hit back at online critics who are laying into his TV chat show before it's even started. It's after the pilot show was leaked: "People in cyberspace just don't go online to be nice."

Now thats just the jist of it, but what got me more wound up is - how dare he then go on to say that people who have commented on here or YouTube especially are very sad and that they have no friends and need to get a life. Now, I'm probably just adding fuel to the fire but for goodness sake man! Thats a fine attitude to take in making sure people watch your pathetic little chatshow. Perhaps he knows its bad and is trying to protect himself, I don't know, but hitting back at your critics whether in "cyberspace" or magazine articles or whatever is just down right rude.

Defend your show - ok, but DO NOT start being rude and egotistical. Mad
