Yep, Granada Television or better known as 3SixtyMedia, they have three commercially available studios for use by anyone, so programmes like Stars In Their Eyes, Jeremy Kyle, Mastermind, Question Of Sport and so on all come from there.

There's a special seperate set for Coronation Street and another studio thats only used for ITV Granada News.


So have the other three studios at Quay Street been permanently mothballed? Sad

I bet there have lost some rep for making that show in there studios!

I thought that's all they had at Quay Street? I need to check....


I'm sure I read somewhere, either online or perhaps years ago in an IBA Yearbook that there were six studios at Quay Street (numbered 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 by the Bernsteins to give the impression the complex was larger than it was).

If I'm wrong, mea culpa and my apologies.

Its being filmed in Manchester so Antony can continue filming Corrie.

Although presumably his appearances will be reduced a bit (i.e not in every scene like he is now), so there is some good news to come from this show after all

I heard that too about them numbering the studios 2,4,6,8, 10 and 12. Studio 1 is Corrie, and one studio is for Granada News/Reports so that leaves the garden studio and the other 3.

Well you would think so, but in a magazine interview he says not and he will be filming his new talk show on his days off from Corrie.

I guess his show will be live some days and recorded others like other shows simular to this have been.

Shame. I was getting rather excited then. Oh well, let's hope this flops. Judging from those clips, I don't think I need to...

It just seems so sloppy. I mean do TV producers really look at this tripe and go "ohhh yes we've a ratings winner on our hands here"?

Studio 2 is definately for Granada Reports, I didn't realise there are that many! When you walk past the Building you don't think it's that big..
