Well Doddy has lasted decades, so he obviously does something right. I like him. I doubt in a decades time Cotton will be in the public eye.

All the people who have paid to see his shows over the past 50 years I would think-- and are still going to see him!
You might not like like him, but plenty of people do-- myself included
He reputedly knows more gags than any other comedians, and holds the world record for the longest stand-up performance.
He can actually sing, and has a fine operatic voice-- Tears is one of the best selling singles of all time. Also he can do ventriloquism, plus he can act-- he appeared in Kenneth Brannagh's film version of Hamlet

Aaah! Ken Dodd on tv he is a little thrush. The diddymen are cool tho. I have to agree that live he is really funny. Mind you it was a long time ago when i saw him live. It was around the same time i saw Jim Davidson live, and i'm pleased to report that Nick nick is as irritating live as he is on Tv.

Is Mr Davidson still doing Chalky
Whilst JD does a lot of work for our forces, I suspect he is an unpleasant person underneath.
Doddy was still on top form in 2001 when I saw him, although he has gone through some ill health of late-- but he is still touring as far as I'm aware. Still packing them in; hope I'm vivacious as he is, when I'm in my 80s!

There is something about Jim Davison i hate. Its a bit like Noel Edmonds. There is something about these chaps. I can't put my finger on it, but i get bad vibes from them. With Noel i think its little man syndrome. ( i'm being polite)

Yes, Cleo Roccos said that they will be virtually adding Kenny to the show. Should be interesting to watch and see how they do it.

It was quite good tonight. It had some atmos.
My gut instinct was right about Jim Davidson. If you have any doubts about why i dislike him watch Hells kitchen. It's quite spooky really.
