"THAT" Antony Cotton show

I suppose he is already doing that with Let Me Entertain You.
I think I'd prefer an all round entertainment show, more where there are games, sketches, etc with guests popping into sketches and/or performing, along the lines of Saturday Night Takeaway/The Brian Conley Show, its different to chat show, also plugging peoples careers by being on them, but could they really do it 5 days a week?

Surely there needs to be a gimmick, even though Takeaway is a free for all kind of show, the premise is still clear that someone takes away that contents of an ad. Look at something like talking telephone numbers, a general entertainment programme with a competition fitted in.

Brian Conley is definately one of those all round entertainers whose act and presenting style hasn't aged over the years.

He'd be perfect for the ITV 5pm slot in my opinion.

The problem with Let Me Entertain You is that it's presented by a person who can do so much more but is stuck with a daytime show. The same happened with Jasper Carrott with Golden Balls. I enjoy both shows very much but I prefer them doing what they were used to doing years ago.

Whilst I hope Dirty Rotten Cheater goes well, and doesn't turn into a cross of Judgement Day* and Pokerface, I hope that with Brian creeping back into the spotlight, he might be picked up again, remembered for his great comic talent, and get him back doing what he was used to doing; comedy.

*What was Judgement Day about? I can't remember...

Any idea how the show is currently doing in the ratings? I believe today's guests include someone from Corrie being interviewed.

When will Vernon Kay's new show for ITV1 teatime be on soon?
Will he be replacing Antony Cotton straight after he finishes his run?

I may start to like him if he stops doing the same old jokes and routines. I wouldn't promise anything, though!

I think they've got that Chris Tarrant fronted gameshow filling 5pm after Antony Cotton's run. Surely they'll need time to work on it, I'd take a guess that it would be more likely to be January and air when O'Grady doesn't.

Take a guess. Probably like every other show that has occupied the slot over the past 3 years.
