why does it say "Regional programmes from Yorkshire TV" in the black legend bar below "Programmes"?
Is Granada TV so culturally bankrupt that it has to get Yorkshire TV to produce regional programs for it for the North West?
Or does Granada just employee (or more probably hire the services of) careless web designers?
No but his picture appears in the third box and has done for several weeks, which I should have included in my previous post and apologise for not doing. Apart from his picture there is no other mention I don't think.
I'm still looking forward to Granada having Tony Morris as part of the team. Although I share my time in Wales and Granadaland, I don't watch Granada Reports a whole lot because Lucy on her own doesn't work for me. Although the format and look of the programme is a lot better than during the purple nonsense with Rob McLoughlin.
Meanwhile, on the morning team, Rachel Bullock has but disappeared. I haven't seen So or Anna Thomas for a while either, instead just this pair.
As for Peter Berry, before last week, I'd never seen him before -- and the first second or two before he realises he's on air and starts reading he has a very unprepared look on his face, which again, like most things, frightens me.
Peter Berry shouts too much! I think he would be better doing outside reporting. As for Maria Gearing, well its not her fault that’s she’s wooden when reading the news, but like you say, Outside she is so much better, looks less like a Granada Robot!
As for Rachel, she has done some reports recently but that’s only her voice!
Oh, how I miss Wilson. Even though his shouting when reading and his specs perched on the end of his nose really annoyed me sometimes when he was on, now that hes gone, I do miss those things.
I do agree, Lucy on her own is just not right. She’s better in the CSO studio on her own, but in the main one, its just boring to watch. Also I hate the way Granada Reports just starts. After adverts, it just cuts to her reading notes on the desk, then a second later "Hello....bla bla bla". Granada, for God sake Bring an Ident to start the show!!! Even if it’s just a 5 second one with no Announcement, Its still better than the ad's then a cut to Lucy!!!
Well the show will be better when Tony Morris starts next week hopefully, there has been no mention of any revamp, though I have noticed slight changes in the past week or two which might give signs of the revamp...

-Weather, it used to come on at 6.28 after an ad break, but there now is no ad break at all, I don't know if this has anything to do with the new look.
I have watched that guy in the morning and he is so bad, Anna Thomas is better on daytime, I know she cocks up too often, she doesn't shout at all. I'd rather have Tony Wilson back to be honest as he did bring a sense of humour to the programme and I thnk he took the piss out of Gordon Burns sometimes which was funny to watch. Frankly I have to agree that Lucy isn't right on her own, she needs someone else all the time, bring back Bob Greaves!
Does anyone know what happened to Andrew Brittain? He always read at weekends, but he just dissappeared and now the weekends seem to have someone picked the short straw, usually the Sports presenters.

Lucy has been on before the titles for ages now. Thats why in my last post i said it needs an ident to break up the ads and her talking. The ads straight to her is just SO messy!
As for ad breaks, well the show has no internal ad breaks which is daft. Full on 30 mins is mad, al least let Lucy have 2 mins rest Granada! As for ad break at the end, well I think that will be back if its has gone.

Yes, Wilson did bring a humour to the show, so thats why I miss him a little now. As for Andrew, well lets say hes gone on to bigger and brighter things. As for sports presenters at wekends well last time I saw it, it was Mike Hall who was not bad. Well hay, anythings better than Maria Gearing! (Sorry Maria, Love you really, but please blink and relax in the chair instead of having your back so straight)
Tony Wilson was a guest on XFM's breakfast show where he announced that he'll be presenting a show on the industrial revelution on Sunday evenings on Granada.
