Why's he doing the same show simultaneously on BBC One and ITV1?

And it looks like the AC is down on the ITV show as they're all sweating like rapists!

He's the new Paul O'Grady.

AWT starts his new show today, his former channel has decided to run a repeat opposite it. Where have we heard that before!

I loved the trailer for his new ITV show "fancy something different on a Saturday morning", ah the irony .

It is funny how bar the slight tweaks to the set, the new music, graphics, etc, it's exactly the same show.

But I suppose when an indie's making it that's what can happen.

I really don't understand ITV's logic of having cookery programmes on at the same time as the BBC AND on both Saturday & Sunday mornings. Totally madness, it won't take long for viewers to get bored.

What is it with their "I have an idea and I am going to milk it dry until you sick of it" tactics?

Well I suppose they are hoping that BBC1's large audience will follow AWT over to ITV1, Paul O'Grady style.

Tommorow's show looks to be more topical, looking at the papers etc, with a bit of food thrown in. It also marks the return of Anneka Rice!

Loved his show (and AWT's show) on ye olde Carlton Food Network.

Are you allowed to do that - have a similar to exact same show, on another channel.

Saturday Cooks was spitting image of Saturday Kitchen.....its Saturday Kitchen a BBC Production?

I'm presuming that Saturday Kitchen is now going off the BBC then as it seems stupid to have the same show running at the same time, just with different names.

Not for the moment I would not have thought, especially considering Warrell-Thompson's old show on BBC1 beat his new show on ITV1! 900,000 viewers to 600,000 viewers respectively.
