I wonder how much of the programme, if any, was actually "live"? Confused:

Of course. And they deserve seeing as it's pretty obvious who's really making the show Wink They're easily the best things on ITV, no matter what Mr Cowell might think.

They've been Executive Producers for years, unlike Paul O'Grady who doesn't have hardly any input on his show

I didn't realise you had such background knowledge on Paul O'Grady's status in the production? Please do tell more Rolling Eyes

No, thought not.

Well I'd like to know what the input was considering there hasn't been a single new idea since his own production company took over. Anyway, Hi Paul, nice to see you are reading the forum, How's Buster tonight?

Thats a very amusing response to section of tonights show, well done.

Liking the guest announcer idea, I do miss Peter Dickson, but Simon Pegg can do a good impression Surprised

The page for Takeaway at UK Gameshows doesn't list Peter Dickson at all?

Surely you don't have to rely on such unhelpful sites Andrew, being the ITV expert around here. I'm sure he did it at some stage, but maybe I'm thinking of when he did the prelude to Takeaway, Slap Bang by Blaze TV.

SNT is not listed on Peter's website but he did do Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon.

As Peter does the voiceover on so many shows (particularly on ITV), I think it's quite easy to get confused. There's only Peter, Alan Dedicoat and Marcus Bentley who get any work!

Next week by the way...

Ant and Dec preside over more stunts, surprises and set ups for members of the audience and viewers at home. Daniel Radcliffe is today's star guest announcer, Max Beesley and Jonathan Wilkes drop in to play Beat The Boys, nine famous faces dress up as elves to help a lucky viewer to Grab the Ads, and McFly perform their new single live. Plus, the Jiggy Bank remains to be discovered somewhere in Britain, with the promise of a 5,000-pound win for the lucky person who spots it.

That's all for viewers except those in Northern Ireland. UTV are not showing next week's show due to the Rugby

Really? I find that very hard to believe, if you watch carefully you'll see some big clues!
