My point exactly. Ant and Dec are god, but without the recognisable formats like I'm A Celebrity, they wouldn't be as successful.

I'm not sure I agree with that. They weren't recognisable formats when they first started, but Ant and Dec contributed a hell of a lot to their success. For me, they are the highlight of I'm a Celeb, not the Z-Listers for whom I don't really care much. There aren't many who could pull off a show like Saturday Night Takeaway these days, except perhaps the likes of Brian Conley.

No, of course Ant and Dec contributed to their success, but I couldn't see the BBC coming up with another format with which Ant and Dec could have the same success with.

Plus maybe we will get a Winter series like what happened in 2004/2005. I can't think of any other projects that Ant and Dec would do in the first few months of 2007, they aren't doing a film again are they?

I don't think so. They've had quite a busy year this year, haven't they? PokerFace is coming back, as we know - I think that may be reverting to a weekly format though, rather than being stripped across one week.

Pokerface won't be back too early into 2007 so they will have time to do some more Takeaway in the New Year if they wish.

Well ITV need something decent for its Saturday schedules in early 2007 so I expect it may return.

Ah, we seem to have found the beeb's answer to Andrew!

Well Andrew nearly always provides us with ITV propaganda, so a little balance is no bad thing.

A spelling mistake or your true opinion I must ask.

As for I'm a Celeb - without Ant and Dec it would be nothing. It's their commentary on events which holds the show, not the contestants!

It's a very short run for such a flagship show. It can't be that difficult to do more, after all similar shows like Noels House Party and Don't Forget Your Toothbrush had much longer runs with smaller production teams

Only saw the last one of the series - I notice they're recycling ideas from You Bet now as well, there's plenty more LE formats to plunder
