According to Applause Store The X Factor live shows start on October 14th, once the showmoves to the studio we get the second voting show I think. So Takeaway should still be on the air when this happens.

That Pussycat Dolls thing was definately NOT live tonight.
They never used a wide shot of the studio during that "Performance" - you couldn't see the audience and the band from the same angle. The pussycat dolls didn't stand with ant and dec at the end of the show and you could tell that the audience noises were added in.
I guess it's true what they say about ITV...

Yeah, I noticed that, and the dreaded filmic effect was also used. They didn't use the filmic on the audience though which was the big giveaway.

Which is what, exactly?
I'm sure Noel's House Party also had pre-recorded bands during the "live" programme. It's nothing new.
I would have said the bigger deal was Ant & Dec's 22 storey absail, LIVE with only a 5 minute safety briefing. I thought I better not look away in case we ended up talking about a hideous accident that eclipsed Steve Irwin's.
May I ask about your username? Were you perhaps expecting to find another 6 "superdudemen" here already?

I think the pre-recorded bits on House Party were when he went 'downstairs' for Wait Till I Get You Home, the bands were always in the studio.
Noel Edmonds is doing the lottery show next Saturday and it sounds like he might be doing some old House Party type stuff on the show.

What?
Are you seriously upset because one part of the show was pre-recorded? It was probably just the PCD's not being able to do it live.
I agree with another poser, I was concerned about the Ant Vs Dec challenge as well. I was just surprised that something so big was sprung on them, and they only had a few minutes to prepare. Ant seemed genuinely scared before and after.
