I was thinking more of the thing last night where they had a car race against 2 women and the audience voted on who would win

I don't get it.
Are you trying to say that You Bet is equivalent to Ant v Dec? I loved watching You bet back then and I can say that it's better and more vintage than A&Ds antics. I did watch some of it last night and I found the 'Beat the Boys' challenge a bit baffling. Target boards, fancy dress cars, obstacle courses, use the car to score a goal, A&D will do anything to get our attention.
And this Ant V Dec I wouldn't neccessarily say it's equal to You Bet because they were less messy or at least slapstick when it comes to the climax of the programmes.

Did anyone else notice the big mistake they made when the audience member played Grab The Ads? I thought I'd imagined it last night but just caught the repeat on ITV2.
The contestant chose box 10 for the final question, and got it wrong, but they lit it up as if he'd got it right. The prize for that box was none other than the £12,000 car, which he shouldn't have actually won! Somebody's in for a bollocking there.

But then he gambled and won the lot anyway so it wasn't important

A spelling mistake or your true opinion I must ask.
As for I'm a Celeb - without Ant and Dec it would be nothing. It's their commentary on events which holds the show, not the contestants!
Not even them hosting can keep me watching that programme anymore.

My point exactly. Ant and Dec are god, but without the recognisable formats like I'm A Celebrity, they wouldn't be as successful.

It depends who is in it, but I think its boring now. We are on the 5th or 6th series in just over 4 years? Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I think there should have one series per year, with 10-12 epsoides, Augest - October.

They had two series in 2004 - this was because of the phenomenal success of the third series which at it's peak was getting 15 Million viewers. The fourth series later that year was disappointing, getting considerably less. ITV decided to go back to have one series a year - and the last series was an improvement in terms of ratings.
This will be the sixth series - and tbh I've not grown tired of it. I did become a bit weary with the fourth series, as it was the second in one year - but now that it's once a year I still enjoy it a lot. It always ends up being one of ITV's most watched shows of the year, along with Coronation Street.

I wonder if we will get extra episodes of Corrie again when Im a Celeb is on air? 2 years ago we got 8 in one week for Mad Maya.
