Yes, it's a good show overall. The Beadle's About revival is the highlight for me at the moment.
Love all the Clarkson jokes tonight, it's a gift that keeps on giving for joke writers.

I don't think it's been to Gateshead before, last series it went to Newcastle didn't it?
Are you sure it's never been to one of the Westfields?
I think it might have went to the Ealing one, unless someone can confirm otherwise?
I see the Super Computer is going to the usual places. London never seems to get a visit from it!

Thought this one was really low rent, presumably to get seven shows out of it instead of six one has to be a bit cheaper than the others but normally that doesn't come across on screen. Last night we had no big stunts and no big guests, so it all seemed pretty dull. Even the fact the Beadle's About bit - surely Generic Hidden Camera Stunt #0001, crushing someone's car - was on a member of the public (and a bit of a dick to boot) made it look a bit of a standby.
I watch this show for Ant and Dec and probably rather no guest than the same guests yet again - hello again Stephen Mulhern next week - but it didn't seem like much was going on this week. And it doesn't have to be on a huge scale, my favourite bit this series has been them singing with Spandau Ballet. That's exactly what I want to see on Saturday night.

There isn't a Westfield shopping centre in Ealing. There is a Westfield opposite Television Centre in Shepherds Bush / White City though.

London really is poorly represented on British television, it's a real shame. You'd think at least one channel would base itself there.
Still waiting for it to come within a hundred miles of my house, by the way.

I notice that ITV Studios have been busy selling Saturday Night Takeaway in other territories. US version later in the year, and the French version has already started on M6.
First episode found on YouTube, opening titles virtually the same, they even have their equivalent of ITV Towers. James Blunt is the guest announcer.

I see 'Mitre Television' Ant & Dec's company get a credit on that French version. But not Noel Edmonds!!
I didn't even know Ant & Dec had a stake in the format apart from striking deals over the years for their companies to co produce it. Sure they might be involved creatively (watching Noel and Jeremy Beadle's ideas) but it was originally an ITV productions creation right? The power of being on screen talent I suppose.
