Old show was done 45mins.
Current content takes up 1h 4m - 15mins of adverts.

Yep, It's borrowed a lot from Don't Forget Your Toothbrush.
The idea of surprising someone in the audience and embarrassing them on stage with a load of personal stuff they'e dug up is something Toothbrush did a lot better. Also I saw a bit of tonight's show and they did something very similar to Chris Evan's segway of looking into alternate cameras accompanied by a drumbeat, (Evans used to do it to the sting from Captain Scarlet).
EDIT: the game they played with Mark Austin was a round on That Puppet Game show last year
Ant v Dec is modern day Don't Try This At Home meets You Bet!, and others no doubt.
Putting cameras in people's houses had already been done on the NTV segment of House Party.
Heck, even Little Ant & Dec is probably based on House Party's Gotcha segment, done cheaper.
As for Win The Ads - major boost up on Grab a Grand me thinks.
The Supercomputer idea also probably has its roots in Game For A Laugh.
Um, anything else?

Wasn't entirely successful, was it.
'Singalong Live' is done via Skype as there's a massive Skype logo in one corner of the screen tonight.

Did they have the London News desk in for tonight's Ant vs Dec or was it from somewhere else? I recall the London desk is a lot lower than the one they used tonight.

I've just given it a watch on YouTube - definitely a product of its time. I couldn't stand it for very long.

Yep, it hasn't aged that well, though the big shiny floor shows don't tend to (I suspect that Takeaway be viewed very similarly in 20 years time). It was a great show though.
