looking at it he win the ads are symptomatic of adverts shown in the various different advert sets in the given programme in the given areas that itv advertisers in and according to an internet search miriam ryan who was mentioned earlier is listed in various profiles as an assistant producer.

the Win the Ads contestants are handled slightly separately from the rest of the audience - I think they're admitted a little earlier and get to wait in the bar, as opposed to the rest who presumably get the regular TLS experience of queuing in the cold with refreshments from Costcutter.

I thought the Japanese trolley dash didn't quite go to plan - it seemed like the fourth item (milk) was supposed to be there as a tie-breaker, but they went to it early after neither Ant nor Dec could find the sugar.

The Miriam Ryan credit was part of a running gag tonight

Miriam Ryan has been explained.

She has been the person filmed secretly during the series, which I believe was done last year.

Further to the random draw, I notice the credits (for this series at least) have a credit for "Surprised Audience Member" which I think is the person chosen for Win The Ads.

It's Miriam Ryan each week. I presume it's the person in charge of the Surprised Audience Member segment at the start of each show.

All was explained this week Smile
Miriam Ryan was actually a member of the public who hadn't noticed her name was on the credits and a lot of other things. Quite a clever idea actually. Probably not original (like most things in this show) but certainly different.

"later this summer" has been the official line.

NBC website says "later this fall".

I'd have thought it would have an airdate (and a name) by now if it was airing in the summer, so the fall looks more likely.
