It was good to see the old logos again. I did wonder about the mixture of old and new ones, that explains it.
Nice also of Denis to recognise the regional structure of ITV (in his own way, of course). I loved the gag about Grampian Television originally going to be named Scottish Highlands and Islands Television "until they realised what the initials would spell out"!
Thanks for a good hour's entertainment, guys.

TV Forum is the best site to recognise what the REAL VIEWERS want from TV. More TV producers should come on here!

Ah crap - do you need to show these programmes on a Saturday night when I'm never going to be home?
Ah well - any prospect of repeats? I know the the gameshow marathon continues for a few weeks yet - I'm eagerly awaiting the Bullseye episode - but is there any prospect of a repeat of the 50th anniversary Alright on the Night? I suppose ITV have a habit of repeating those every few weeks, but I don't know if the 50th anniversary one is going to reappear.
Alternatively, can anyone upload any of the idents shown, or references to regional companies (eg the Grampian reference).
All in all it appears to be almost proving the point made which offended Melvyn Bragg a while back - that the ITV 50 celebrations were more of an obituary than a celebration. While that might not be true for ITV PLC, it seems certain for the regional ITV companies, in these days of reduced regional programming (certain to be reduced further after digital switch-off) and networked promotions.
It is however always appreciated when such effort is taken into account, so well done to the producers of Alright on the Night for getting it so specifically right.
