Also at the top of the show, Denis's wording of "50 years of Independant Televsion" was a welcome adjustment to the accuracy of this season. Well done Denis and the team!

From the left overs still around TV Centre I think they did. I walked into a few yesterday outside hospitality ... and yes it was recorded on Friday at the BBC.
I thought that was TV Centre from the look of the audience seating, yes I am that sad!! Looks like it was Studio 8. But what I want to know is why couldn't it have been filmed at the LWT studios on the South Bank? Sorry London Studios just doesn't sound right to me. You know, like how MTV officially have their own studios but I say they film in the old TVAM building!

It was quite a good nostalgia fest, though as I feared suffered slightly in a 30-minute show being padded out to an hour with the first ten minutes being nothing more than an intro.
But the original version was an hour in length anyway, only the Brucie version was half an hour. So compared with the Crowther era this was a shortened show.

Yeah I noticed that too. They should have used the thistle.
Well technically it wasn't the present ident, but the ident that was in use a year or so ago.
