This is on BBC Three right now. There are quite a few odds and ends in this that are interesting to pres lovers. It's got it's fair share of idiots talking heads, but there's a few idents (including a recreated BBC2 clock in widescreen that goes on for quite a while), some good news clips, etc... Next broadcast is 2am on BBC Three.
I'm just wondering who did the clock recreation now. Probably Dave Jeffery, seeing as his is on the BBC website, and it's got the second hand judder.
Ironically I find BBC3 more and more annoying lately, so chances are I won't bother sticking around to see anything of interest. I did flick over just now but those tossers from Big Cook Little Cook are talking heads, which immediately tells me how poor this it is.
Hopefully it's better than the recent spate of BBC3 'blooper' type shows. They've all been very good in terms of research and use of archive, but totally ruined by the awful voiceover rabbiting all over the clips

o.O They just had idents as one of the most annoying things, they showed a colour TWW/Teledu Cymru ident. I didn't think they survived long enough to broadcast in colour.
Hate to be a pedant, but it is '...Hate To Love', not the other way round!
Idents at #86
- I guess if this strictly refers to the symbols of now, the clip choices (which are mainly current BBC1 and 2) make sense, but I would have liked to have seen a few more oldies there.
Pieces on the demise of the clock (where the recreation is used) and the closedown w/ National Anthem are only featured as asides to the countdown; the latter has continuity from the BBC1 Futura logo age.
...Oh, and why did nobody mention the utter genius of the credits sequence at the end of this programme? Made me laugh, good reason for not expanding the reach of the formulaic ECP-friendly credits if there ever was one!

i.e. Richard Bacon and Jane Horrocks ad-nauseam.
No, Richard Bacon is fine. Think the awful one is Rhod Gilbert. There was an outtake programme on a while back, 'The best outtakes ever' or something; excellent clippage but he felt the need to comment on and over everything either trying to make out that he caused it or explaining the obvious

I did mention it, but didn't want to ruin the surprise. As it was the last programme on BBC Three last night, they didn't shrink it down on the repeat. Poor quality caps follow...
