I am currently on the long break between June exams and the September return to college, but the break I have unfortunately been able to witness the diabolical nature of cheap daytime tv ads, but which would you ban if you could? Mine would have to be the fist clenching compensation ads! Feel free to mention any other ads you find annoying that I have forgotten.

The most annoying commercial over here is for something called 'EnerX' -- it's an herbal male impotence drug - it's shown on ALL the news channels EVERy comercial break - it's horrible
CNN also shows AOL commercials EVERY SINGLE COMMERCIAL BREAK -- and keep in mind, in an hour there are about 8-10 commercial breaks
Ugh I hate AOL, i can't decide Debt Management or Compensation, both(services and ads) are awful(no personal experiane). The Ocean Finance ad with the maze really annoys me, does anyone think the old guy from the couple looks like Harry Enfield being an old git? Also Mr Ison do you think the blonde guy from the ad, is a long lost relative of Mr Evans?!?
1 - All adverts for personal injury/car insurance/debt repayment firms (Claims Direct, Tiger Claims, Baines and Ernst). Nearly all are fronted by people I would gladly punch in the face to remove the smugness from!
2 - Anything vaguely medicinal, especially the advert for Otex Ear Drops and the one for 'fungal nail infections'. Both are disgusting and not ones I want to see when I'm eating my lunch.
3 - Any advert for sanitary wear. WHOOOAAAAA Bodyform, bodyformed for you! Oh PLEASE! Shut up!

I would say that claims/debt management/car insurance adverts are annoying, as well as adverts that have phones ringing in them or the sound of flies buzzing (that's why the Big Brother BT Cellnet flies annoyed me so much!).
the most annoying ads are those debt managemnt simply as there are so many of them.
Otherwise it's the Americanised three minute long ads for stupid things like manual food processors and the CD collection where the majority of the music is contained within the ad.
Then it would have to be AOL followed by the stupid skincare ones

Yes! The AOL advert drives me MAD! Does that woman have the most awful voice or WHAT?! Is the voice dubbed over to replace one with an american accent being removed? It just sounds foul!
