Regards Banksey...You may wonder why he targets Meridian, Anglia and HTV West announcers!!???!!! It's because he failed to get a job there and has obviously become VERY BITTER!!!!!! This is sad, but we're not going to take it to heart.

Just wondered how Amused is enjoying his job. I need to check only I'm so bitter and twisted that I don't have one. So damaged am I that I have no sense of humour. I only have time on my hands to post bitter and bitter notes on forums which are both bitter and intended to re-instate me as King Continuity announcer of the world - Only right and proper. People did complain about me while I was at HTV West, I just didn't like to say anything. They had to go in the ground with all the others. I am due to be released in 2025 parole permitting.
Officially, I think you are all lovely. You do a difficult job in an impossible environment, please accept my love and hugs.

I was thinking about being a continuity announcer as a career, but you two are putting me off
Why does HTV Wales only seem to have about 3 announcers? - one of which also does the HTV weather! Perhaps when Dilwyn retires on his 110th birthday next year, there'll be a job going at HTV http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Well I knew that there was a bit of bitching going on at BBC Wales, but I thought the ITV1 regional CA's all loved each other - why the fighting then? is it a behind-the-scenes competition to see who has the sexiest voice, or the ability to keep a cool head in moments of technical crisis?
Well, there's no competition over who's got the sexiest voice. Everyone agrees it's me.
And as for being calm in a crisis, there's no doubt on that one either, it's the presentation controller, that's what he's there for.

ofcourse all announcers write their own scripts- even lwt! u don't think tv companies can afford to pay someone to write them for them do you? and it would make it a very tedious job for the announcer if they just read out 5 seconds of someone elses words every so often !

Depends sometimes ITV sometimes ITV 1
It's either
'YOU'RE WATCHING LWT - PART OF ITV1'
or
'THIS IS LWT - YOUR WEEKEND ITV' (no '1').
They never use variations of these phrases, only the two exact versions shown above.
Does anyone know how to repair the brake pipes on a Renault Laguna? Mine appear to have split (not - have been cut you understand). Probably frost bite.
