Did you see tonight's Hell's Kitchen.

Sian Lloyd was dining out with her friend Trish.

It was only LWT's finest - Trish Bertram!

Yes, the great TB. Last time I actually SAW her on the telly was during LWT's closing sequence with her long time colleague, Glen Thompsett.
Didn't she look FAB!! Sitting there dining with the lovely Sian. I'll bet temperatures were soaring in the kitchen as a cool front landed over Trish and Sian's table!!
Well done for getting on the telly Trish, what a pity we can't be treated to her glorious tones on a more regular basis on ITV1. Who are some of those newer announcers?

ITV obviously want young trendy voices on their channels not sure why Confused
The current ITV team don't have a clue about the regional programmes on Border and this is reflected in their announcements "This ITV Border" very creative. Maggie Mash is probably horrified when she hears them all.The older women that was on one of the UK TV channels has also been replaced by a younger girl.

It's nothing to do with age, it's the experience that counts. Well that's what the misus says anyway!

With the exception of Graham Rogers and Paul Seed - the others sound high-pitched -squeeky - some even say ITV2 when they mean ITV1. I've even heard them promoting the wrong programme, at the wrong time on the wrong day!!! (Even one Scottish chap promoting the wrong characters when introducing Emmerdale some months ago)
Please, whoever is in charge, a little care is needed when training these people.

How many announcers does ITV Network currently have? In Wales we only get 2.

I've always said Mr Seed and Mr Rogers are the best 'full time' voices at the moment although I think the two new female voices are pretty good and there seems to be a younger male voice last night and he was ok too!

Worst for me Sonia 'now though or before that though' Clark - dreadful!

Glen Thompsett.

Glen did tonight's Meridian south-east, if you want an up-to-date peek at what the young fellow looks like, Mike.
