Keith Butler was a continuity announcer for TVS as well as introducing Late Night Late

And Glen Thompsett also needs to go on the TVS list.

And Stewart White started with ATV Midlands before going on to Central.

Add Beverley Ashworth to the list for Granada. (on throughout my younger years, and also in the local news herself as a (relatively) high profile stalking victim...)

Yes, Mike Prince was with ATV as well. He also popped up at least once on Southern. I've got a feeling he was also seen on HTV West ?

By the way, Robin Houston was a newsreader for Thames, I don't think he was ever a CA for LWT ? He certainly VO'd a lot of LWT LE shows though.

I knew Mike Prince was one of the ATV announcers who stayed on after change to Central. I had no idea he had appeared in other regions, though.

Mike Prince did a lot of work for HTV West, though it always seemed to be mid-week shifts.

I think it was weekends that he did in other regions.

Simon Bates announced for Southern for a bit - in his autobiography he says how impressed he was with a veteran announcer who, at closedown, took off his glasses to wish the viewers goodnight, only to find out that the glasses had no lenses in anyway. But he was fired for moonlighting at Thames.

At some point in the future (probably when this thread quietens down a bit) I shall consolidate all this information and add a new list with everyone's additional recollections added!
